The Model 572AC SEVERMASTER severs 1/4" (6.35mm) to 2" (50.80MM) diameter
tubes and thin wall pipe
This machine enhances productivity by incorporation of the auto-cycle tool
model and quick lock collet closure. A cam cycle tool bit feed mechanism
automatically returns the tool bit to the home position ready to start the
next cut. The tool module also allows setting the start and finish cut
positions to minimize the cycle time. The feed increment per revolution is
adjustable to optimize the cutting speed relative to the material. A
variable speed motor provides further cutting speed control for increased
tool bit life and ID burr reduction. The quick Lock mechanism actuates the
collet with a single lever stroke for simple collet changes.
Tool bit options are available to minimize the burr on the mounting side or
the drop-off side of the sever line and in different edge widths to match
the tube wall thickness. The tool also incorporates mounting features to
allow use of an SQM-1AC Tube Squaring Module for optimum burr free ends.
The Model 572AC Severmaster System consists of the mainframe with quick Lock
collet closure, Auto Cycle tool Module with adjustable depth of feed from
.001" to .005" (.02mm to .13mm) per revolution, drive motor, wrench kit,
operators manual and carrying case.

The Model 576AC SEVERMASTER severs 2" (50.8mm) to 6.63" (168.3mm) diameter
tubes and thin wall pipe.
The severing range can be extended down to 3/4" tube by using a special extended tool holder. The Model 576AC features our Auto-Cycling, cam-operated tool bit feed mechanism which automatically returns the tool bit to the home position (ready to start the next cut). The bit feed increment is adjustable to match the material being cut. The Model 576AC has a collet clamping length of 3.00" (76.2mm).
A variable speed motor provides cutting speed control for maximum bit life
and ID burr reduction. The Quick Lock mechanism actuates the clamping collet
with a single lever stroke and allows for rapid collet change. The Model
576AC comes complete with one block module, base plate, tool kit, operator's
manual and a tool kit.
